HOLLYWOOD - Piers Morgan is in no danger of losing his unofficial title of being the Most Hated Foreigner in America as he buzzed (X'd) several contestants on the America's Got Talent Semi-Finals Show.
Morgan was booed more than Hurricane Irene and the sad part about it is that the Englishman absolutely loves it. He is basically cut from the same cloth as former American Idol judge and fellow Britisher Simon Cowell.
But as Pico de Gallo of Tittle Tattle Tonight pointed out the two Brits are like night and day when it comes to clothes. Simon, who is known as "The Sultan of Sarcasm" usually wears either a gray or a black t-shirt, where as Piers "The Pompous Prince" Morgan dresses like he just stepped out of the pages of the prestigious men's magazine Gentlemen's Quarterly.
And that is where the differences end. Because other than that, both men can be extremely ruthless in their caustic criticism, rancorous remarks, and cruel comments.
Morgan did agree with his fellow judges Sharon "Yes Da-Ling" Osbourne and Howie "Don't Touch Me" Mandel that little 11-year-old Alaskan singer Anna Graceman will make it into the Top Ten.
Anna sings with the heart and soul of last years runner up on American idol Crystal Bowersox. She sang "19th Nervous Breakdown" by the Rolling Stones and little Anna showed that she can play the piano just as good as Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, or the amazing Cookie Pepowitz.
A big crowd pleaser Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr. sounds exactly like Frank Sinatra and he even looks a little like the crooner except for the dreadlocks, the Southern speaking voice, and the fact that he's black.
Another favorite is magician Landon Swank who in the past has made a Kia Spectra disappear, a Lamborghini appear, and actually, somehow caused some hair to grow on Howie Mandel's completely bald head.
But perhaps the evenings biggest applause came from the motorcycle riding Smage Brothers Riding Show who performed unbelievable stunts on bikes that even the great Evil Knievel never attempted.
The brothers even had half a dozen of their family members including Grandma Pickles Smage help with their act. Granny Pickles stood on a Galapagos turtle while Bubba Smage jumped her with his modified Yamaha.
America's Got Talent Host Nick "The Hockey Stick" Cannon was really impressed and he quipped that the group could call itself "Hee-Haw on Wheels."
SIDENOTE: Nick was asked how his wife and twin babies are doing. He replied that Mariah is wanting to get back to performing and the three month old twins Bippy and Bappy are already learning musical scales.
