Queen, that ancient band from way back when, once frontlined by that mega flamboyant Queen of Queens (no not Elizabeth I or II) Freddy Mercury, have just signed a super record deal which proves that once a Queen always a Queen (even without Freddy)!
Bohemian Rhapsody and Co are to be remixed, rebundled, repacked and relaunched to make sure so nobody can ever forget Freddy & Co. (I'm bored)
Now many modern rock fans feel they were just a bunch of ol "poofs" and have nothing to offer; fanatic Queen fans and the band themselves think they were the greatest thing since Elvis (Led Zeppelin fans have just left the forums).
A survivor of Queen with Freddy, Brian May, still has the same curly hair-style that he had 40 years ago (albeit slightly thinner and very grey). Brian has milked the Queen thing ever since Freddy died and even if one hates Queen's bombastic, over-the-top sound, one has to respect Brians talent at spinning the same old discs and milking every drop out of them.
As for flamboyant Freddy, he's upstairs belting it out with that other poofy, flamboyant superstar, Liberace, for the title of "Greatest Camp Entertainer" ever to grace the stage since Marlene Dietrich?
Freddy won hands down and "bottoms up!"
