It's a sad,sad time for lovers of Thomas The Tank Engine. He is almost bankrupt as a result of YouTube.
Viewers are not flocking in their millions to sit in front of their t.v.s to watch him these days. They are watching him on YouTube, which does not bring in any money for Thomas.
Tears rolled down his face yesterday, as he appeared at a small press conference at his station.
"I just can't take it in," blubbered Thomas. "It's just not fair. (Can someone wipe my nose please. I don't have any arms). I should be getting some royalties from YouTube. I feel so sorry for my little - and big -fans who may soon not be able to watch me on their t.v.s Some of them don't have computers and this will break their hearts."
"If I'm taken off t.v. there will be no new shows. My fans will be forced into watching re-runs. It's a sad, sad day. I'm not chuffed at all."
With that, the press conference ended as Thomas shunted his way down the line to his home. He looked rather tired and his wheels squeaked. A tiny puff of smoke drifted from his chimney.
