Nick Griffin, odious leader of the bunch of racist thugs who hijack democracy to masquerade under the title of a political party - viz the BNP - is to appear on the BBC insitution, Desert Island Discs.
Presenter, the fragrant Kirstie Young, said: "We had no choice. The BNP somehow managed to get themselves elected to the European Parliament a couple of months ago and that makes them a mainstream party, apparently. Anyway, he will not be allowed to talk about his policies - only his life."
Unfortunately, a leaked memo from the show demonstrates that Griffin's music choices throw a rather sordid light on his politics:
(White Man) in Hammersmith Palais - The Clash
White Wedding - Billy Idol
White Christmas - Bing Crosby
White as Snow - U2
White Man - Queen
A whiter shade of pale - Procul Harum
White Bird - KT Tunstall
White Lightning Def Leppard
No mention then of Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black" or "Black and White Town" by the Doves.
