London: Former heavyweight champion of the world contender, Frank Bruno, has lashed out at the makers of the new Sacha Baron Cohen film Bruno complaining that none of his fights are depicted in the film and that he has been misportrayed.
Expecting something similar to the documentary When we were Kings, 'Big Frank' admits to being disappointed about the biopic claiming that he had never been to Austria or to any fashion shows.
What may come as a shock to many fans, though, is that the film is based on the period in Frank's life when he went a little cuckoo.
Trying to re-energise his career after leaving the boxing ring, Frank started to explore rings of a completely different nature. Leaving behind his catchphrase 'know what I mean 'arry?' and using the line 'Vassup!' Frank quickly attracted a large gay following.
Frank originally requested that OJ Simpson play him in the film but because of outstanding commitments the former NFL man had to turn down the offer eventually landing Baron-Cohen on the basis of similar body type.
