image for Mel Gibson begins work on "Passion II: Electric Boogaloo"
Jesus will "raise the roof" in the sequel, promises Gibson

With Mel Gibson's film "The Passion of the Christ" just opening, Gibson announced this morning that he has already begun work on the sequel.

"The next film, which I'm tentatively titling 'Passion II: Electric Bugaloo', will feature a lot more dancing," Said Gibson. "I'm personally in talks with Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze for a semi-reprisal of their 'Dirty Dancing' roles, and I'm also currently working with some companies to manufacture and sell tie-in items."

It has been learned that some of the tie-in items Gibson was referring to are a hand held computer to be sold by Circuit City, called the "Pontius Palm Pilate", and "Passion II: Electric Bugaloo" Happy Meals, available at McDonalds

The Happy Meals will feature an array of Old and New Testament action figures, the most controversial of those bound to be the John the Baptist with karate chop action, along with a Moses doll that break-dances on a flattened cardboard box.

When asked about his concern as being typecast as a director now only interested in biblical films, Gibson was humorously frank. "Well, it won't get any better, because after this I plan to do a movie about Sodom and Gommorah. Then I'll probably have to do a sequel to that one, since there will be a lot of loose ends to tie up." Gibson then laughed uncontrollably for several minutes.

Gibson is billing "Passion II: Electric Bugaloo" to be a "dance-fest of biblical proportions."

Will it succeed at the box office? Time will tell. Filming is expected to begin after Jennifer Gray heals up from her 17th plastic surgery.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
