Oasis finally got the recognition they deserved at the Brit Awards by winning the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Their outstanding contribution to the rock and indie scene over the last TEN years has well merited this award and about time too SOME MIGHT SAY! Never has a rock star as outstanding and well revered as Liam and Noel Gallagher deserved such a venerable award such as this.
It is rumoured that they will also benefit from Outstanding Manners award from Readers Digest next year. Also most Outstanding Booze and Cocaine Habit by Drugtakers Anonymous the following year.
Most importantly they are said to be honoured with the Most Fanciable Baboon Award to be awarded by London Zoo at Christmas.
