The Bacon will need to hang first before it is fit for public consumption

London - (Rioters): The art world was stunned last night when a Francis Bacon portrait of Pope Pius XII - known as Hitler's Pope - sold for a record breaking £14 million.

The anonymous buyer is thought to be the ultra secretive and extraordinarily wealthy reclusive collector Professor V Smart who over the last 30 years has amassed an art collection that has been described by the Rockefellers as 'making your eyes weep':

"Docteur Gachet, Bal Au Moulin de la Galette, Van Gogh's Irises - you name it, he's got it, but he ain't tellin' - not just yet".

The Bacon portrait will remain in the UK where it will join Smart's collection of over 30 others by the artist including all the ones which art writers claim have mysteriously disappeared into Swiss bank vaults owned by reclusive Japanese plutocraps.

A close acquaintance of the Professor said today: "The Professor is so fabulously wealthy he could buy out Bill Gates from his petty cash stash. Collecting art is just his reclusive hobby.

"The Bacon will need to hang first before it is considered fit for public consumption."

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
