Kevin Wilkes, a 24-year-old hipster from Chutney-on-the Fritz, who recently started a business sewing mittens together, and opened an Etch-a-sketch-themed cafe, has further diversified his business portfolio with the release of Major Catastrophe, a dance album that uses 1980s musical toy Major Morgan for its solos.
'Obviously,' said Wilkes, 'a lot of it was done in post-production. Nobody can play a Major Morgan fast enough for dance music, and the range of notes is quite limited, but I like the sound of the finished album. We played a lot of keyboard, drum machines, and even included Chutney-on-the-Fritz's church choir during some of it.'
Major Catastrophe is available from all good record shops, and some bad ones as well.
