Burbank, California - (Associated Mess): Rap singer Snoop Dogg has been arrested once again under the Dangerous and/or Offensive Hairdos Act of 2006 after an LA patrol car noticed suspicious antenna-like protrusions on the rapper's head and allegedly mistook them for signs of demonic possession - a clear contravention of the Act.
The singer was taken into custody and searched for illegal substances. And while initial findings of a potentially toxic whiteish substance made the LAPD drugs unit confident of charging Dogg with their customary array of offences, subsequent chemical analysis showed a mild case of nothing more sinister than dandruff infestation.
At a press conference later in the day, a Department spokesman admitted they had got it wrong but cited a similar case the previous week where a suspicious-looking motorist was strip searched:
"That time when we examined his hair extensions we found two kilos of marijuana, half an ounce of cocaine, and a number of illegal firearms hidden in the suspect's tresses."
Rapper Snoop made bail and is expected to release a press statement via his personal hairdresser later today.
