Controversy has raised it's ugly head in the form of forty four year old drifter Albey Piesmark. The homeless man of no fixed address from St. Louis approached TMZ with allegations that Pharrell stole his hat.
The iconic hat that Pharrell has recently been spotted sporting at several major events has caused it's own controversy with people either absolutely loving it or hating it with a passion.
Albey Piesmark appeared on the popular television show clearly upset.
"I swapped that hat for Cee Lo Green's parrot and now it has been stolen," he stammered live on air.
Harvey Levin followed up by firing this quick question which was fraught in skeptical undertones. "So let me get this straight, Pharrell Williams came up and snatched your hat?"
To which Piesmark replied, "no, not him directly, he was in the Cadillac escalade. It was one of his body guards, he took it off me when I was sitting down and when I went to stand up he shoved me back down."
Pharrell Williams and his camp were unavailable for comment.
