LOS ANGELES - In a move that many figured was coming sooner or later, the GOP mouthpiece on The View, Elisabeth Hasselbeck is being shown the door.
Barbara Walters stated that contrary to what FOX News is reporting Hasselbeck, 35, is not being fired because she voted for Mitt Romney.
An inside source reportedly told Joy Behar that Lizzy was being dumped simply because of her annoying voice, which is described as being somewhere between that fruit cup Gilbert Gottfried and that pint-sized country singer Kristin Chenoweth.
Whoopi Goldberg opined that EH had also been warned repeatedly to stop making negative, off-the-wall, baseless remarks about President Obama, but Blondie (Whoopi's word) said that Lizz the Diss chose to ignore the warnings.
Apparently the straw that broke the camels back was when Hasselbeck openly criticized the the president and the first lady's favorite hip hop band, Camel Carl & The Desert Rag Headz.
