It's time to fly.

Predicted soon to be out of the red, United Airlines ticket sales will be skyrocketing due to the new revolutionary book, Changing Plains, which is flying out of amazon.com with so many demands it is threatening to peril the Internet. The immediate recovery of United's financial woes may be found in the opening pages of the book and take place in an airliner's restroom. No. Not the mile high club.

Following a visit to a restroom on a United Airlines transatlantic flight to London, the central character emerges a different person having been switched in appearance, giving her a new identity as well as an upgrade into the first class section. Who would refuse an upgrade? No one. Move over Harry Potter. Your wizardry was imaginative and beautiful, but Changing Plains is practical, doable and right now.

Officials from United Airlines and parent company UAL Corp. did not return telephone calls, but strings of Rhapsody In Blue could be heard.

Like a transatlantic flight on United Airlines, Changing Plains is a pleasurable journey with some turbulence, ups and downs, the opportunity of meeting new and exciting people, duty free, entertaining, taking readers to different worlds, and upon reaching the final line, a wish that the experience could continue just a little bit longer.

Since the author has written a critical article about the Pulitzer Prize committee's failure to recognize the merits of British political satire, inherent in the website, spoof.com, it is certain Changing Plains will never be included on their long list. Forget the short list. A thumbs down also from Dick Cheney, George Bush, Tony Blair and a stadium full of people the writer has steadily lampoon since 2004. But this novelist remains optimistic, insisting that the planet is populated with more than a stadium full of people.

While travelers will be zeroing in with reservations on United, heading directly for the magical restrooms, Dow Jones Wilshire Airlines index and Amex Airline index are collectively scratching their heads, but feel comfortable with a quarter gain in revenue. Now that's real wow! Think a book can change the financial direction of an airline? Only if the novel is Changing Plains by K. C. Bell.

It's time to fly.

Fade to Rhapsody In Blue.
