Profile: I am blue billed redneck. I was reared on a small farm in the middle of redneck country (Idaho) and got my formative training in a two room country public school (PS #41) 1948 till 1953. The state was read even then and I was a large round peg in a terribly small square hole.
Iwas not liked by most because if I felt something was not true I would argue about it. Yes, there were liars back then in the Republican Party, too. The only good Republican I can remember from back then was our village constable, Dana Gilmore. He was in a job no one else wanted and kept it for nearly 40 years until his death.
Long, boring story short I am 67 and still feel fire in my gut when the redneck-religious-conservative-zealots get all fired up about some BS or another and lie like a dog about it to scare the hell out of folks that should know better.
I spent two years in Viet Nam (65-67) and is why I hate all wars and feel if we are an educated world we have no reason for armed conflicts that we can negotiate our differences away so we can live in harmony.
