He knew what he was doing, solving post war unemployment and poverty. New job prospects, now BIG money and Big Cadillacs for dealers. Drug problems multiplied tenfold, no riots etc. Drug industry replaces motor manufacturing. The Problem they didn't see coming, was that crime increased dramatically with people robbing to pay inflated drug prices. Criminalisation was and still is so wrong. Thing is, they knew alcohol prohibition hadn't worked. |
