I love a nice spotted express.

But I really adore those stripey goods trains full of fouled ballast.

Mind you, it has to be a diagonal stripe for me. None of your perpendicular stripes.

I tried to buy a ticket for the midnight train to Georgia once. The bloke in the ticket office looked at me like I'd gone out.

Mind you, I was a trifle piste at the time.
