Is this the Acton man with an eagle eye and a realistic grip?

It's not?

Ah well, I'll not bid on it then.

Not many people know this but Acton was once the cherished place where Victorian and Edwardian Londoners washed their clothes. It's the water see. We've got underground streams here, full of liquid that's perfect for doing the laundry.

Hence all our old warehouses were once laundries.

Still plenty of career prospects in Acton, despite the financial crisis. We're always on the lookout for top flight night security guards...

And another thing..

Adam Faith was from Acton..

So there...

Carry on...

Adam Faith, aka Terry Nelham, used to be our paper boy..
bloody rascal..
'what do you want if you dont want money' was one of my Desert Island Discs when i was on Roy Plumley's show..
dont get me started on Acton..
maybe Acton needs putting on the map..
in the same way that Nagasaki was!
then again
why should the wankers of Dorking and the kinky pensioners of Worthing get all the glory?

Enjoyed that, new to me.

A bit sad how some are viewed later in life.
