I suss pose this should surely count as life and general discussion, and now feel compelled to share it with you to see what you think. Its a first for me, and you may have guessed I'm a bit of a pessimist.

But here goes anyway.

I was with my mate John a few weeks back. We were having a beer and playing fifa. Went for a fag outside at halftime. I live near the river in deepest darkest Gloucestershire, and we often have jumbos going over toward Wales, over the river. They are always at high (poss max) altitude by the time they go over us. So as I'm puffing away, i usually just look up out of habit, so I'm use to seeing them.

The day was very clear and blue sky. What caught my eye was a jumbo moving at a much greater speed than im used to seeing. The relative size to the altitude for this craft was about 3 to 4 times larger than a jumbo in scale, moving probably 2 or 3 times faster. It was also shaped as a fixed wing (triangular shape), but it was white, not black.

So i thought that this is probably some military spy plane, that wouldn't normally be noticed, and the conditions just made us get lucky in spotting it.

The plane/craft flew behind a small wisp of hi alt cloud, and immediately a large egg shaped "projectile" came down from the stratosphere, dipped below the cloud in question, and shot up with lightning speed into the cloud. It looked like a missile of some sort from a satellite or something, as it came vertically down, and was manoeuvring at un-earthly speed and then went back up into the cloud. At this point, without breaking eye contact from the cloud, said to John
"WTF was that? wait until the debris comes down mate, you did just see that as well didn't you?

"Yeah mate, that was weird"

Then seconds later, the white fixed wing appeared from the other end of the cloud, sped toward Wales for a few miles, then seem to rise into the atmosphere and "escape". I'm sure this was a man made craft, as it displayed contrails, although only about twice the length of the plane before they dissipated, whilst the normal passenger jet contrails last for ages. And this thing was real fast.

Then John pointed to the sky and said (Look at that! Can you see that?). I followed his gaze, and not far from where we saw the first plane originally, was a very dark boomerang shaped craft, with a sharp tail in-between the edges at the rear of the shape. A bit like a boomerang with a swallow or swifts tail. This craft than proceeded to "patrol", again at very high altitude (this one was bigger than the first one),and in a figure of eight pattern continued to cruise around for about 30 seconds, and disappeared as it shot behind another bit of high alt cloud. This one (and the projectile before hand) is the one im foxed about. These, in contrast were very dark, and almost had a bronze kind of patina to them. The were dark, but not black, and manoeuvred at impossible speed for the turning arcs. Has anyone seen something like this before?

Im obviously expecting you all to rib the piss out of me for posting this, but all the same i value your opinion.(lol, im so going to regret this, arnt I)

Honestly, I've heard vague stories from books my father read about UFOs in Wales going under the sea and stuff. However, look up pictures of every plane and UAV you can on Wikipedia. You'll probably find something similar eventually.

Also, could you make a drawing of it or something for us to see? I'd love to see it before you get hauled off by Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones.

Seems like a good plan Paddy, although i dont hold out much hope. Would there be a book with that new an aircraft available? One of the things that bugs me, is that the "boomerang" shaped craft was just circling/hovering about in a major air flight route, which seemed very risky to me. Anyhow, ill let you know if i come up with anything.
