I am certainly watching THE match today and will be cheering United all the way, which goes without saying, but I said it anyway

I'm just curious as to which writers will be sitting down at the same time (taking the time-difference into account of course. 2:30 pm for me).

It'll be fun KNOWING who is watching and cheering along with me.

Ah yes! That reminds me! I must remind my sports-loving brother that his football game is on today.

Yes I will watch and support the reds. I still remember when I were a wee lad watching Celtic v Inter Milan and Man Utd v Benfica.

But always remember there's more to football than these matches!

If you watch that Celtic - Inter game again, all the Celtic fans are wearing suits, shirts, and ties. Times change eh?

The Lions Of Lisbon. Cracking match.

68 - Best's extra time goal, keeper sliding into the back of the net trying to catch it...Enrique if memory serves. Ref was Italian, Concetto LoBello. Brian Kidd scoring on his 19th birthday.

Is there a game on today?

Skoob.

I won't be watching the match, but I've started an argument on the celtic football club supporters site.

I told them that Thursday was Katarina Frogpond day. Some little prat posted "Weirdo." I posted. "Yeah. But, am I bothered though. And then as an after thought I went back and posted. "You sound like a Rangers Supporter"

I'm waiting for his reply. I might need your help with another retort because I've used up my best line.

He gave me an insulting reply, so I gave him my next best line. "Do you know who I am, mate."

In another five minutes I'm going to tell him. "I'm a very serious journalist and you can't say things like that."

And then I'm going to tell him about my achievements. I haven't decided which ones yet. I was thinking possibly of telling him about how I uncovered the secret Temple of Morrisey. The Zombie Infiltration of the Houses Parliament.

I'm going to see if I can keep this one going longer than I kept the last one. The last one figured it out quite quick.

I'm going to tell him I know Tony Blair. I met him at a post box last week, whilst he was apprehending a terrorist.

might I suggest "Rangers 9 in a row" - enough to cause a riot within the Green and White hoop faithful.

That would make him go mad. I couldn't say that.

He's stopped now. I haven't had a message from him for about 10 minutes. I think he's figured it out now, that he's arguing with an imaginery character.

Its a shame my next line was going to be "I know the Pope and Susan Boyle. I risked my life reporting on the Holy Glow in the Dark Nuns of Dounraey".

We have no other footie matches televised today ONLY the Man U one. It's all bloody hockey, hockey, hockey over here!

I keep telling the fellas at work that football/soccer players are much fitter than hockey players. Hockey players - I recently found out, are only on the ice max. 30 seconds....can you believe it! Then they switch with another player. Wimps. All that bloody padding too.

I'd love to see a team of hockey players take on ANY football/soccer team (even a youngsters' team) and see how many of them could LAST the 90 mins.

Good luck Katarina - with your 'situation'.

Shame, I had this down for 2-2 (after normal time).
That, with 3-2 (Huddersfield) and 2-1 (Reading) would have won me £4300.

Oh well, there's always next time.............

Well done to Stevenage. They waited a long time to get into the League. Shame about that little ***** Graham Westley though.

Katarina, you are very lucky that CJ hasn't read your posts yet or else he would be telling you that the CORRECT spelling of imaginery is actually IMAGINARY.

Just a favour to a fellow writer.

Most of us don't bother about little typos or even spelling mistakes....but CJ...well....he's VERY particular about other writers 'writings'. He eats a dictionary every day. LOL

Just saying CJ (Love ya!)

Thank you Lady G. I'll remember that. Imaginery. Got it.

I think of myself as real most of the time, but I have this friend and she keeps telling me that she created me.

I keep telling her that if she really did create me, can she predict the stories that I'm going to write on a Thursday, and she always does. She always knows what I'm going to do before I do it.

I think Barca are gonna win.

I want 'are you Man U, you' to win.

Who should I put a bet on?

I'm thinking Messi to score first, 3-2 to Man U (180/1).

Whaddya think.............
