Caught in the metal railings of the gate and bent back.

I sat there and watched as it snapped off.

Don't worry, auto glass repair, auto glass repl.... Oh.

There goes your no-claims bonus.

Here goes: your mirror did not see that coming.

JB, my condolences on your mirror. if you drive a Merc even more or a Beemer. Hopefully your wallet is as large as your belly, Budda.

Cars are such a hassle. At least it was you who did it and not some bastard vandal. You can't get so angry at yourself.

Hope it's an easy repair job.

Drive a tank instead JB!

That way you can break the railings off the gate with the wing mirror!

That'll learn 'em!

Thanks for the kind words, dear spoof souls.

Anyway's, I got it fixed today.
Cost me more than I expected.
Won't break it stupidly again.

And DEFINITELY WON'T go to an official dealers to get it fixed either!!!!!

But I suppose it's over with and I can get on with my life.

A life of bitterness and regret.

A life of loneliness and despair...where every waking moment feels like a ticking time-bomb ready to destroy my very existence.

Everyone seems to rip you off these days. I read in Which? Magazine that about 65% of all mechanics - dealerships, independents or otherwise - give you a satisfactory deal.

Not GOOD. SATISFACTORY. SIXTY-FIVE PERCENT.

I'll give them one thing though, Inhopeless, they at least got it sorted on time and did a good job (so far).

Oh, and they called me back at the exact time I asked them to...which makes a change from most people nowadays.

Well, according to the report, most (I can't remember how many) didn't even do a good job, and some even gave back vehicles with SERIOUS faults that weren't there before. So, if in doubt, don't trust anyone to fix your car, apart from the good place near where I live, and the aformentioned one of JB's.
