What the...?!

I originally thought this was a Spoof. Then I thought it was the Daily Mail. Then I realised... what the hell?

Quote: Cycling has always been touted as being good for health, but now a study has found that it is actually one of the biggest triggers of heart attacks.

So cycling can be a factor of causing heart attacks?

It reads as if it's actually the 'pollution' that is a factor ....

Mind you, having been involved in competitive cycling in my younger days.....I know of a few cyclist who had heart attacks either 'racing' or 'training'.

EDIT What a coincidence, the results of the 'Belgian' study have just been on our morning news......same study.....blaming Pollution...I suppose the writer of the article posted above, is looking for an excuse NOT to exercise LOL

You can't WIN when 'they' carry out these studies. They think they can prove anything with their statistics.....

I hate it when people are 'over the moon' stating such things as, the murder rate in City X is down this year from 256 in 2009 to 124 in 2010. Is that something to celebrate? No...people are still being murdered so the numbers are going UP not DOWN!!!!!

Dozy statisticians.

,,,,YES! It has been found that the heart stops after being run over by a bus, or when a driver indadvertedly opens his door into the bicycle lane causing the operator to swerve into the path of a lorry...

I fell off of my mountain bike once or twice, broke a rib or two but never had a heart attack, maybe the Dutch forests are not polluted?

Most people die after breathing.

Or 'stopping breathing'.... Coz after you breathe then you take another breath - unless you are dead of course.

What do you mean Erskin...that 'we are the living dead'?

I've thought that for many years.....How depressing is that thought?

We're all a hologram projected from the edge of the universe aren't we?
