We have a similar movement here in the Cheese State, which is odd, really. You'd have to see how cows are milked, or more specifically take a good look at the cleanliness of their udders to know that bacteria really shouldn't be your first concern. They tend to crap all over themselves.

"How's your morning milk honey?"

"Fewer chunks than usual"

I've watched farmers cleaning the 'teats' before attaching them to milking machines. I'm not worried about that bit.

I don't see what all the fuss is over. People SHOULD be able to drink raw milk if they wish. After all, people make wine at home from 'raw' ingredients....and that's not legislated. YET!

I was brought up on Jersey milk right from the cow, delicious, never did me any harm.
