Well, I know where I'm going to take my family for their holiday this year...
http://www.sandy-balls.co.uk/ I've been itching to go there for ages! As I said to my significant other: "Darling, we may not have Paris... but at least we'll always have Sandy Balls." |

Hiya Cassandrova
They advertise this place on local radio where I live. It sounds like a comedy sketch. Sorry I don't have a link. Sandy Balls - I suppose the very inanity of the name makes a statement about brand awareness. Regards Skoob ![]() |

I'd love to hear one of their ads. Heh!
Also love the button at the bottom of the web page that suggests that you 'Explore Sandy Balls'. |

Hello Cassandrova:
The state of Pensylvania has communities named Blue Ball and Intercourse in "Pennsylvania Dutch Country" (Amish) tourist areas. PoM |

Oddly enough, Philbert, I was visiting the US around ten years ago and me and my girlfriend took a road trip up to Pennsylvania to go antique hunting (there's a famous road - the name of which I've forgotten - which has a whole bunch of antique malls along it).
Anyway, I was navigating and started reeling off names like Blue Ball and Intercourse on the map - another good one I remember was Reamstown. My girlfriend was convinced I was just making up these names! LOL We also spent a day at a really deranged theme park called Hersheyworld where all the workers dress up like chocolate bars. There's something really disturbing about being approached by a giant Reese's Peanut Butter Cup with legs. |
