Malawi row over whether new law bans farting

Two of Malawi's most senior judicial officials are arguing over whether a new bill includes a provision that outlaws breaking wind in public.

Justice Minister George Chaponda: "Just go to the toilet when you feel like farting."

Isn't a public toilet a public place?

Not sure he's thought that one through.

The real question would be not whether he thought it through, but if you really want him to follow through with it.............

Gosh, my classroom stinks at times....usually the boys...I'd love to make a law against it...but that's ridiculous.

It's the 'wet farts' that worry me - or the ones with lumps in. Yuck!

If a wet fart has lumps in it, does that make it a wannabe shit???
