Did you see it on the news? Paul the psychic octopus is remembered in Oberhausen. A 6 ft. plastic 'statue' of him with his tentacles wrapped around a giant football with world cup participating countries' flags on it.

It is 'see-through' and there is a replica of the World Cup inside in which are Paul's ashes. Awwwww!

He gave us many laughs and much material...bless his little cotton socks.

He'll live on forever in my heart.

Most of us are still in shock from his sudden death back in October.

Missed the memorial service.

Hope they played "Taps" on the vuvuzelas as they became forever linked with our Paul during the games.

I'll drink a toast to Paul right now with the last of my Shiraz.

Here's to Paul the greatest since Nostradamus.

Many an oracle may come and dabble in predicting match outcomes, but none will have the tentacles of Paul.

He will be sorely missed in 2012.

Oh thank you guys...even if you are 'faking'. I can handle 'faking' but I find it difficult to handle 'ignoring'.

I wasn't "faking" LG. I think a lot of us would have liked to see what else Paul would have predicted. Say, yesterday's two football games. Or whatever he could have predicted by choosing. Seems like he didn't live long after becoming famous.

True, he was only two years old. Poor lad...but they are 'training' another now. So..who knows??
