What do you all want for Christmas...besides World Peace? And all rude words banned from The Spoof. (Just joshing with you with that Spoof thing).

I first posted this on the Miscellaneous thread, which I had spelled incorrectly.

I want a second-hand (or second-feet) treadmill.

Mind you, our 'chimbly' is blocked so we'll have to leave the door open for Santa.....

Honestly, and I know this is gonna sound really sappy to some, but I want my husband to have a wonderful Christmas. I want that every year but this year especially...he's had it rough taking care of me and worrying about me and he deserves to have the spotlight shine on him for a change.

I went out and bought him a second-hand Ibanez acoustic guitar. Hope that is a good present for him. Somehow the socks and underwear route just ain't enough...

That's a great gift, Charpa!

Does he actually play, or will your Christmas wish next year be that he puts the stupid thing down so you can concentrate?

I'd love toinvite my stepson, SFO around to the house for Christmas Dinner.

He'd probably lecture me, but I'll be too drunk to care.

4 working days to go...

Then it's the big one.

Regards

Skoob.

That sounds great, "dad."

I'll bring the future Mrs. SFO. I'm sure the two of you will have a smashing time getting smashed.

I'll help Mrs. Skoob with the Christmas dinner.

Fortunately, he plays just enough that he is enjoyable to listen to. Not a nuisance at all. In fact, he does a one-man comedy routine at parties that is a hoot. He strums the guitar as he talks like Fabio. Very entertaining...

But I digress...
that's what I wish for.

Hope you and Skoob get your wishes as well.

Can you make quorn in the shape of a turkey?

You and me mum would be proud. I cooked Thanksgiving turkey for the first time this year - and ate it - then had it again on day 2, of course. Then I made turkey salad sandwiches on day 3, turkey nachos on day 4, turkey soup on day 5, and a lovely turkey pot pie with the remaining leftovers on day 6.

Then we had a few beers and decided to make turkey patty melts on day 7. True story.

Not sure what we're having for Christmas, but it's not turkey!

SFO are we going to have to look at those 'thingies' on your new avatar for very long.

They're making my eyes water.

Which reminds me about boating safety. For those of you who own a watercraft or are a frequent passenger on one, you really do need your own personal, well fitted, artificially bouyant floatation device. Great Christmas gift. SFO already seems to have his.

Jean, re: nipples, I think if you look closely you CAN see the 'right nipple'...just don't get 'snot' on the screen
