sticky fingers

Picture from Brighton of protesters supergluing their hands to windows inside a famous UK fashion store.

The power of Facebook and Twitter again. Amazing.

For non UK residents the people are protesting against big business avoiding tax while everyone else is paying up. The owner of this fashion chain, transferred a £1.2bn dividend to his wife in Monaco to avoid (legally) paying tax.

They're gonna regret gluing their hands so high up in a couple of hours.

Wow, the lengths to which people will go (no dangling participle there

What I want to know is:

(or maybe it should be 'are')

- what if they get an itch somewhere....who will scratch it

- what if they want a wee or a Number Two

- how long did they remain there - or are they STILL there
if so, I bet they're not smiling now

- did they buy their fabulous - fashionable tee-shirts at the store
they're glued to (dangling participle.. )

Food for thought...

Sorry, but there seems to be some numbskullery going on here. If they were really clever, they could have chosen to use a less permanent glue. I've (accidentally) super glued my index finger and thumb together more than once while trying to fix something and let me tell you, it ain't no picnic getting them unglued. It's downright painful.

Hate to call anyone who feels so strongly about something an idiot, but if the glue fits.
