Poor fella. Imagine having to live his life with all that hate balled up inside him. He'll never know the delight of a fluffy bunny without trying to blow it's brains out, a fairy tale without the ending involving choking the life out of a gay person, a mother and/or father who didn't tell him several times a day to hate what he doesn't understand.

Many a true word spoken in jest Charpa. Our grade 8 teacher (male) was telling us about something a girl in his class said (13-14 yr olds). Somehow Bambi came up - or at least baby deer...most of the girls in the class went Awwww! One (who I used to teach) said,

"Suck it up! I'll be killing 'em soon."

She's anxiously awaiting her hunting licence. She's been shooting a shotgun since she could hold one..and that goes for many of the children where I teach. Sad really, or am I just a big softee?

Death, to many of them, of family members and friends(shot in Mexico for example), drowned in irrigation ponds (youngsters), is spoken about in a very matter of fact way as are fingers, toes, limbs and lives, lost as a result of farming accidents.

It's a different world.
