Had a woman a few years back in Eastern New Mexico (I think it may have been Roswell or Clovis) who cooked a tortilla. She swore that the scorch marks looked like either Jesus or the Virgin Mary (I forget which). People were making pilgrimages to her house on their knees to pray to the tortilla. She got smart and started "accepting donations" and made a small fortune.
I couldn't see the image when they showed it on tv. Just looked the the beginnings of a burrito to me! |

Deep fried some calamari rings for the mister the other day. One came out a perfect smiley face, no nose, just two eyes and a curved mouth. It was a sign. I swear it was.
