hi I'm new to this i wrote my first article yesterday, i wanted to check up on it today and it's not there! it says i haven't posted anything yet. Has it been removed for some reason? i didn't get any messages telling me anything about it.

please tell me what's going on, thanks!

Check in magazines. If it's not really "news" it can get kicked to the mags section. If it's not in magazine, send Mark a private message.

wow, i didn;t expect to such a nice friendly responce, thanks everyone, yeah the 1 article that is there isn't the one that was 'removed' i wrote the new one today.

i think i know what happened. I wrote an article in the style of an exaggerated right wing paper like the 'daily mail' and although it was completely satirical, it was probably considered offensive. It was about how Muslims, gays, women etc are a 'problem' with Britain basically which is basically what those papers say.

I would've preferred if i got some kinda message telling me it had been taken off and why but it's ok i guess. i wasn't happy because it was my first article and i was quite proud of it.

You usually do get a message - a short, standard type message - saying that the story is not suitable.

Usually Mark will tell you why in more detail if you PM him. Sometimes if you are prepared to make changes it will eventually get published.

Or you can use the ideas elsewhere?

hmmm, yeah, i love satire and im really glad i found this site coz it's like i can express it easily in an article, i also make some stuff for youtube, do you know anywhere else i could go for this sorta thing??
