No.
I wrote a story last year saying the FDA (Federal Drug Administration) was going to take it over as a testing ground for new performance enhancing drugs. If one made it 'over the mountain' the drug was automatically approved. The scandal, as far as I'm concerned, killed 'the sport.' We have lots of week end riders around here....$800 worth of body clinging 'kit' and $3,000 bikes riding in packs on sunday morning clogging up the roads all trying to be first to the end to shag Cheryl Crowe (In their Minds) Bunch of skinny bastards, too! |

Can't say I'm a fan, but I'm a dab hand at falling off.
Skinny bastard too. And a dwarf. Regards The Cook. |

I like a good ride. Very tough sport and I don't blame anyone for taking drugs in the Tour. Nothing funnier than a good bicycle multiple crash on a mountain turn! |

Thats what Bargis always said about you, but I don't think he was talking about bicycles. |

mountain biking is more my thing especially at 2000 meters, 39 degrees and the high winds coming from the front

Did he really say that? How queer. I wonder what FUNNER is? A female runner, perhaps? Mending a bicycle wheel is one of life's great pleasures/pains. There is something pleasurable abut the checking for the hole and the pumping but it is counter-balanced by trying to get on those finiky tyre patches. You really become one with the bike. Much more than when changing a car tyre. |
