Hi, a timely request since the San Fransico Onion has been missed by many.

Here's the idea:

If anyone is going to be away for a while...just post a message here to let your fellow writers know.

This way we will save police time (sending out search parties) and save your patios (by not having them dug up looking for your remains).

Me first - albeit a little premature.:

I'm flying to UK on 22nd July - returning FRIDAY 13TH AUGUST.

I hope to grab a computer or two whilst over there to keep up with what's going on here.

Me second - from 21st in England to be chopped - no idea how long I'll be out of action, hopefully not long

Okay, I'll just give notice that I've been away for months, if not years. But don't worry, I'm back!

My blog has been deserted too - at least all the blogs I know about. I do suspect in some whisky-induced stupor I may have created Tyler Durden-style multiple blog personalities that my normal conscious self is unaware of, and the first I know of such Fight Blogs will be the arrival of a writ for libel...

Philbert...we land at Heathrow on the morning of 23rd. A few days in Leicester for hubby's family re-union...then driving up the Middlesbrough. Based at my mam's in Berwick Hills and just acting like tourists from thereon.

Flying back to Canada, Toronto (Person Airport) on "Friday 13th" and will hopefuly be able to get to our house through the over 50,000 anticipated motorbikes which 'take over' our small town (Pop. 6000) for the day.

I'm left wondering if any of you live anywhere near where I'll be. We could have a pint or two.....
