The snippet: "President Obama was very frugal going to law school & while serving in the Illinois legislature & the US Senate. How come the president runs up a $3 trillion USA IOU after moving into the White House?"
Because he's trying to clean up 8 years of mess left by his predecessor; because he's trying to create the jobs businesses have failed to create because the people running them are too busy collecting bonuses; because, thanks to 2+ million words of tax codes full of loopholes, the people with the most money pay the lowest percentage of their income in taxes, so our city, state and national governments are broke; and because people who should have made healthy dietary choices need $100 billion worth of health care. There's nothing funny about that! On the other hand, Obama's following a Harvard Business School graduate who took a $400 million surplus and turned it into a recession. Wait, that's not funny either! |
