I blame Fabio Crapello.

Damned 4-4-2 was a straughtjacket tonight.

Bring back Joe Cole.

I dozed off for ten minutes after half time.

Very frustrating.

Should have stayed asleep.

Skoob.

Sorry everyone - turns out it was my fault. If I hadn't been so negative after the first half we would have won according to my wife.

Oh deary deary me.

At least the goalie was ok.

Cheryl doing a starkers streak might have raised the temperature a bit, Colonel. For God, England, Harry & St George.

Glad to see standards prevailing on this site.

Others might have said 'the fridge', or 'the offie' etc.

Nothing like a proper drinks cabinet to raise the profile and the alcohol/blood ratio.

Don't have a car..

Whenever I need one I hire..

Otherwise a car would sit around getting rusty..

and being shat on by pigeons..

Anyway...You can't park in Chiswick.. or London..

And I can't drive after the sun goes down..

Obviously...

You've never been the Chiswick Volvo dealer have you, CJ? (That's volvo, not vulva of course, unless that's an acceptable new plural)

Only someone with your non-Spoof name is/was.

I don't really keep up with sports much anymore. What little I know about "American soccer," or football as some refer to it, is from the stories you guys publish here at the site.

The only thing I can think of to help me empathize with your situation is imagining a team of British "American football" players beating the Superbowl champs.

Do they even have American football in the U.K.?

I know Canada has some teams. My American Government teacher in 12th grade was also the football coach and a former lineman for the Toronto Argonauts!
