Just a minor detail, but watching the World Cup games, the goalkeeper's gloves are so big and padded that it makes their job impossible.
The gloves are so big - like boxing gloves - that catching the ball is really difficult. No keepers seem to be catching the ball cleanly. They always try to punch or deflect. Not good enough. Bring back Pat Jennings and the like. That's what I say. Regards Skoob. |

Sorry to disagree Skoob, the gloves are pretty standard. I've worn similar playing for a Sunday league team. It looked odd on a winger, but there you go*.
