Winter returns.
8 degrees C in London, gales, torrential rain.

All those pink and white petals - waaaaahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Not even a dozen patio heaters on the terrace could persuade me about that barbie.

Log fire in the grate and out with the Serbian Slivovic.

Had some of that stuff on a farm in Moravia - keeps one very warm indeed!

Wife's uncle makes the stuff, 200 l a year, better than the storebought.

Have you ever seen the stuff the monks make by putting bottles on pear trees and letting the pears grow inside?

Tourist's delight.

Hello Victor

Are all these US shootings related?

Or is it the Illuminati?

We should be told.

Regards

Skoob.

Not sure Skoob,

This is all about making moonshine.

Wife's uncle is retired and wants to keep busy by burning down the forests of Europe to make high quality Slivovica.

Williams its called (after the pear) and they make it in Switzerland and France and most likely elsewhere - very good it is too. In France and elsewhere there are guys who come round to pick up fallen fruit to make moonshine and pay you with a bottle of the stuff.
