USA Today: Which of your competitors did you admire the most? Magnus: Every single contestant is extremely respectable. I love them all dearly. When Mike (Lynche) saved himself a couple weeks ago, he had to sing for his life, and he couldn't have done a better job. I can't think of a better person for them to have used the save on. Every person has their own struggles. Michael and Crystal (Bowersox), being away from their babies, I've witnessed how hard that is for them. And the respect I have for Aaron (Kelly) for being his age and going through this. I can't imagine doing this when I was 16 or 17. He has to go to school every day, and he has homework on top of it all. He's such an amazing kid and such an incredible talent. Lee is incredible, and he's a brilliant musician. Casey (James) won't back down about putting down his guitar because that's who he is. They're all just so ambitious and strong and intelligent. I adore them all. |
