Could it have been that his employer found out he was posting spoofs during work time, and from a work computer?

Has he made the cardinal mistake of using his real name to spoof under?

Does his wife/girlfriend think his spoofs are coded messages to his homosexual lover?

My guess is that he has just started dating Susan Boyle and doesn't want her reading any of his stories.
