I'm astonished that no one seems to be rating this joke, but perhaps Judge Judy is not yet a household word. She will not cut any slack for anybody, you can't have your hands in your pockets, arms folded, looking around the court... No! No! There was an earthquake in her studio in LA and I thought of using that as a spoof. When she is interrupted, she will call out, "I'm Speaking! I'm Speaking!" She did not point upward and yell anything, she may have prayed, as I would.

I would read a spoof about Judge Judy.

She's got a keen mental acuity, with a quick wit too, if only occasionally.

Just watched the earthquake footage you mentioned on YouTube. The guy was interrupted by a tremor as he was telling a lie, and when they came back after a short recess, Judge Judy jokingly implied the whole thing had been staged - the camera caught his eyes nervously darting to the right twice even as he smiled!

Think she noticed it too?

Betcha he must have thought he was in big trouble for that fib!

I've always gotten a kick out of Judge Judy. I'm not sure why she does the show since her and her hubby are worth about $100 million (according to Forbes)

Greed. Pure and simple.

Maybe, maybe not. As some long-term couples age and face retirement (Judge Judy is in her 70's) they are absolutely aghast at the thought of spending every waking minute with each other. Probably why she works at being a TV judge.
