Lets have a music thread! I love the guitar but don't play well. There are some pieces that could be impossible and four which you'd need four hands - there is a solution (but not a rude one

And another remarkable piece

and this

Apart from the skill involved, in the last two notice how nobody stops to drop a few coins? I couldn't have passed without sticking $20 at least in his cup.

But if people pass by that guy how the hell can we hope that readers will take the time to rate an article?

Here's another crazy one for you.

Please remember that when you play a pipe organ, the foot pedals control the air flow through the pipes.

I actually met this organist about a year and a half ago and saw him play in a concert. He's a good friend of my mother in law's church organist.

Bargis....interesting one finger playing styles

Lynton.....U've seen the foot playing guitar guy in Balboa park myself. He used to be there every day, so a lot of the park regulars had already given him money several times.

For information to others, Balboa Park is this huge city park complex full of different museums in San Diego. It's biggest attraction is The San Diego Zoo. In the park section, however, you have a museum of natural history, a sports museum, an aerospoace museum, a hands on science museum, an outdoor ampitheatre, botanical gardens, and a lot of other really great stuff. You could spend one whole day just doing Balboa Park and not even get to the zoo.

The strangest street corner musician act I ever saw was about 30 years ago in NYC. There was this really old hippie-like guy playing a guitar in a small park. At his feet was a fairly large wicker basket with handle. When you aproached there was a sign that said something like...Drop a buck for Bennie-the-Basket.
Inside the basket was a real small midget or dwarf that was born with no arms or legs. People dropped coins and dollars and the little guy would sing along with the guitarist.
I gave a buck...Shit, where would you ever see an act like that! Friendly little guy too.

Hmmmmmm Come to think of it, I just found my latest spoof character to add to my stable of unforgettables. Let's see...The World's Most Interesting Man Becomes Legal Guardian Of His Late Brother's Midget Son...Bennie-in-the-Basket.
