I've gone 20 e/w on Crime Scene at 40/1 and 20 e/w on 33/1 Munsef.

So a winner and a 2nd, 3rd or 4th place and I'll be the nicest person on this forum tomorrow, I know, I am already but I'll just radiate joy and goodwill to one and all.

Has anyone else had a little flutter on the race that stops a nation?

4AM GMT.... And they're off!

I'll buy something for the wife and the kiddies with the winnings and invest the rest, fish farms or maybe hydrogen cars or lap dancing clubs.

Property's cheap here now, I'll buy a street.

Of course it goes without saying that I'll donate a small proportion of my winnings to charity.

I'm thinking Rehab Lottery scratchcards.

Results of More's Gallup Poll:

The inspector is placing a few bob on 'Crime Scene'

The boys from San Francisco have gone in heavily on "Daffodill'

The boston contingent are rooting for the sentimental favourite" Master O'Reilly'

Naturally, the heavy money is on "Viewed",the winner last year, and the sentimental favoroute due to his 81 year old trainer. Keep in mind, 'Roman Emperor' and Allez Wonder, although the latter has a habit of surrendering the lead in the stretch.....

Luck to ya

Morse

Good luck Morse, have an each way nibble on Munsef, he's shortened to 28/1 from 33's and it's still 3 and 1/2 hours to the off. A place'll get you 7/1.

I might buy a little boat.

I've just bet 1000 Euro on my credit card that Spin Around wins and got odds of 200/1! That's value for you, when this horse wins, I'll be 200 grand richer.

I'll be able to buy a big boat.

E17,957.27c on a straight forecast treble!!!!!!

I'm gonna be fucking!!!!!!!!!!!!! RICH!!!!!!!!!!

With odds of 200/1, 40/1, and 33/1 that's 4,763,298 Euro.

I'd like one of those new Jags.

You should get the ones issued by the National Eczema Society. Scratch cards with a true sense of purpose...

20 each way, got 220 back, take off the 40 for the donkey that's still running and it makes it 160 winnings.

I missed the race, fell asleep waiting.

I have a confession. My good friend who happens to be an excellent stand-up uses that in his routine.

Of course it's my creation - I write some of his stuff.

But one wouldn't want to spoof it for fear of him appearing at the Dirty Duck in Halifax and doing the gag and being booed off stage being accused of spoofing the spoof...

I had a friend, had problems standing up, he preferred the horizontal after binging.
