Not this Sunday QM.
Been there. Done that. Not usually recommended for people with a Manchester accent. Especially on the Kop as it was when it was all standing. Work on Sunday. Don't think I can even get time off to watch it on Sky. I'd have pulled a sicky but I'm already on a disciplinary. Suppose I'll have to settle for MOTD Still, I finish Sunday evening for four days. And two of my grandaughters are coming to stay for a week, so I guess I can live with that. To the regiment! Skoob. |

Funny you should say that QM... I forget the exact circumstances, but because my dad worked on the railways, I got a BR Privelege Ticket, so used to travel to games here there and everywhere at discounted train fares. Saw Keegan make his Liverpool debut against Nottingham Forest at Anfield in 1971 or so. Shame on me. Stood on the Kop too. 5 bonus points to any non-Scouse Liverpool fan who knows the next line from YNWA "At the end of a storm, there's a golden sky..." And? I should be ashamed of myself for knowing this stuff. Bewildered and currently in footy exile Skoob. |
