"The invisible enemy may be hiding in the temptation to look for short cuts in the search for justice - letting ends justify means, letting others rather than oneself carry the cost, denying the difficulties or the failures so as to present a good public face," he said.

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

Somebody say parsnips?

Mmmm I like parsnips.

Like anaemic carrots with a different flavour entirely.

Roast parsnips a bit like the roast parson's nose. Or pope's nose to those so inclined.

Re LIST:

Critical list - Leaning Tower Of Pisa

Hit List - People about to meet guys with guns

Mozart and Liszt - alcoholically refreshed

Wish list - things you'll probably never do

Shopping list - things you really don't want to do.

Shit list - people you probably won't ever crap on

Christmas Card list - people you don't really want to send a card to, but do, because you feel obliged.

Book of Lists - A diverting read

List of do's and don'ts - don't do the do's and do do the don'ts.

To do list - things you never quite get around to.

Marriage Guidance list - write down what you like and dislike about your partner the most and then immediately forget all about it.

Top 50 on this site list - useful, but hardly life defining.

Chore list - best ignored.

Skoob.
