Any Florida fans out there? Or, like me, Tebow fans?

Why was Tebow still in at quarterback Saturday with them ahead 41-7?

Now he's got a concussion. I want to see this guy play in the pros. Concussions have led to some great quarterback's early retirement.

Staubach retired due to concussions. The next three years, Danny White took the Cowboys to the NFC championship game, losing each time.

I've always wondered if they would have been in the Super Bowl those three seasons if Roger (a much better Quarterback than Danny White) had still been under center.

Steve Young also retired early due to concussions.

According to Wikipedia (I think), Troy Aikman suffered 10 concussions. That's the most I have heard.

J-Man, did you see that 2-seconds left throw by Brett Favre?
That was the best game that I was able to see yesterday. That guy can turn a football team around in a hurry.

Thanks for contributing to title.

Any idea how many stories on National Breast Appreciation Day were written?

Troy Aikman played one season too long as he was washed up. The number of concussions does surprise me, as he had a pretty good line for much of his career.

I have no idea how many breast stories were written, but I did google National Breast Appreciation Day this morning and found it mentioned on several websites. It looks like one or two other comedy websites picked up on what we were doing here and wrote a few stories about it also.

Oops, I did see the Favre pass on a highlight show. It was his best pass of the past two seasons.

It looked more to me like he was trying to throw it away and the receiver made a spectacular catch as the throw wasn't really that good.

Big B: I had this thought a few weeks ago....if Spurrier was still at Florida either T-bo would have been on the taxi squad or a tight end...Spurrier never would have recognized his talents.....

that being said, the man better ease off the running or he ain't goin last to get to the pros....

Morse,

So I'm not the only person in the world that doesn't love Steve Spurrier?

Remember the Tama Bay Futility Streak (0-26)? Remember who the starting quarterback was? That's right, Spurrier.

Who went to the Washington Redskins and failed? Spurrier.

Who took over a South Carolina team that had been in bowls three straight years and went backwards? Spurrier.

I think his Florida success was a lot of right place/right time/great staff.

Jman: he's been here in SC for 4 years I think, and could never find a quarterback...and they also signed a bunch of high school guys who could never stay out of jail or trouble...

the latest QB is a walking head case with 3 suspensions in his first year...no show for class, 'keying' a profs car, and I think he got in a bar fight...

all kinds of talent and no brains...just another spoiled kid who had everything handed to him...I predict he'll blow up before the end of the season, especially since they just came off that big win...he's one of those guys who'll take the team nickname one dorm party too far.....GAME COCKS!

On the Sidelines,

Morse
