Some ancient superstitions are behind modern landgrab conundrums...

Ultra-Orthodox Jews practice Kaparot, a ritual to transfer sin into a chicken.

I like chicken, especially in curries or fajitas with lots of hot spicy sauce.

But whatever guilt I feel, I keep it to myself and don't impose it on chickens.

I'm just off out now, it's a beautiful autumn day here. I'm going to disposess some people of their land and transfer my guilt complex to a chicken, or failing that, the cat.

As the Beatles said in 'Penny Lane' :

"Very strange."

Kindest Regards

Skoob.
