Since I've been on here I've noticed a lot of stories about the same people, for example:

Michael Jackson
Jade Goody
Twilight Movie's Pattinson, Stewart

But this is only during my one year. Does anyone know who has been in more of the stories than anyone else?

When Britney Spears got out of her limo with no panties, all of the stories on here were about her. When Paris Hilton went to jail, she got all of the attention. Lindsay Lohan was in the spotlight for a while also. It just depends on who the "hot button" celebrity is at the time.

Duncan and I did alot of Paris Hilton stories, even spoofing each other's stories. It was a fun run for awhile. Then Miley and Jessica Simpson were hammered pretty good.
Good story fodder is just that.

I'm nudging 4 million total here, admittedly that's including the 700,000 several of us got for a July 4 prezzie, robbing me of my 3 million fest!

I was on 2 million in December and reckoned the next million points would be some time in September 2009.

But the last 'real' million happened in just seven months this year unlike the previous million which took a year.

Sorry QM, a bit of confusion as to what I meant. I was referring to the daily tally as listed in the Top Twenty section.

George W. Bush is the most written about topic with 2044 stories, but he's soon to be overtaken by Barack Obama (currently at 2021 stories). The next most popular topic is Soccer (1336), then The Spoof (928 ) and, at no. 5, Britney Spears (796 stories).

Intesting figures, never would have suspected that Obama would have that much so soon...
