The FDA confirmed the remains of an animal were in Fred Denegri's can of Diet Pepsi. Denegri popped open the can July 23 as he was grilling dinner in Ormond Beach. He thought the animal was a rodent.

i wrote two spoofs on this incident when it occurred

both were deleted

i finally got a snippet in, though

today i had a story rejected as defamatory, and asked to rework it and then resubmit, which mark lowton graciously allowed me the opportunity to do

he subsequently published the revised edition

i've only been here a month, but i am beginning to understand the thin line he must tread to accommodate our creativity while attempting to safeguard himself from legal action

i for one truly appreciate his efforts and the forum provided for us

I wanted to do a funny article, but couldn't really top the real story.

Did get in a snippet about him suing the cola company for false advertising, as the stuff obviously must have had more than the zero calories they claimed.

I wonder, if you mixed it with enough whiskey...

Never mind.
