Sunday is Father's Day in the United States (I don't know about the rest of the world).

Here is a big Happy Father's Day to all of the Dad's out there, whether or not your children are still in the nest.

I'd also wish a happy Father's Day to those who perform that job who may not be the biological fathers (step-fathers, grandfathers, uncles, big brothers, foster parents, single mothers, etc.). You are often missed and forgotten in the shuffle, but deserve a lot of thanks also for your work and sacrifice and love.

(I made the same wish back on Mother's Day to everyone who performed that role, so this is payback.)

I know of what I speak as I was a single, custodial father raising my family alone for many years. I didn't know that the full "mothering" role kicked in until I started lactating.

Being a parent is hard already. Being both Mom and Dad is tough, and those that do both deserve our respect and thanks.

Anyway, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

It's Fathers day here in Holland too, just got back from a Metal Open Air, Metallica, Slipknot, etc, best Dads day present I've ever had!

Thanks for the inquiry. I'll get all of the results from my huge battery of tests on Thursday. Then, they will officially tell me that I am in bad shape and need surgery.
