In the US, the right wing is trying to equate liberalism to socialism. What does the world 'liberal' mean in the UK.

I'm not interested in comments from US rightards like Buckwheat. Could care less.

Never mind that. What does this mean?

Methinks the Price of Wales' bling has no clothes

Try answering in English, please.

His medals are superficial. There is only one that the Prince has gotten that is for merit. Bling refers to jewellery in the US.

I hope you are not a royalist.

The title is a reference to the "emperor has no clothes" fable.

Monkey: I write in American, not English. I wish The Spoof would fix that UK spell checker.

What, you mean the spellchecker that has the English word 'Prince' down as 'Price' in the US?

Methinks the Price of Wales' bling has no clothes.

Sorry, I had to write it again to see if it made any sense. It doesn't.

Let's look.

The Price (Prince) of Wales has some bling which has no clothes. No, that can't be it.

Oh, I don't know. You've got me there, mate.

And this:

"Monkey: I write in American, not English."

Is this an attempt at tongue-in-cheek humour? If so, try harder.

Liberal as in Liberal Party, now a.k.a. Liberal Demoocrats.

They used to be the Whigs and mkorphed into various emanations, taking on Labour Party rejects eg Shirley Williams/Gang of Four etc.

Nowadays they are centre left with strong humbug ties to worthy causes such as er....Green stuff, and Human Frights and ....stuff.

Geddit?

Oh, and nobody calling themselves a royalist supports Charles who is a 100% Republican-appointed terrorist along with all the House of Windsor/Mountbatten-Windsor.

The only legit House of Windsor members are Richard, Duke of Gloucester and his family.

A dog on the streets of Kabul has more 'royal' blood than all the other, official lot.

In answer to your question.

I am a liberal.

I open doors for ladies. I say please and thank you whenever appropriate. I can often be seen but rarely heard.
I listen to what other people have to say. I am tolerant. I never lose my dignity. I abhor all manner of violence. I eat my five a day. I am never controversial or outspoken.
Unlike that bunch of Camorra descended bastards who currently reside at Buck House.

With compliments,

Skoob

A liberal or a gentleman?

The two aren't always co-existent.

But not a gay one.

The Dutch often are regarded as LIBERAL, their attitudes to sex, drugs, immigrants are pretty well, on the surface, pretty liberal.
The TRUTH though is slightly different, underneath the surface they tend to be a bunch of arrogant, loudmouthed racists and that's only the Royal Family!

In the US liberals are notorious for stifling opinions that don't coincide with their left-leaning liberal causes, supporters positions, or lopsided philosophy....Just as in the prior post where Briarhead stating that 'Bucktard' need not give his opinion.

The very same 'liberals' are notorious for shouting down speakers at various media events held on college campuses just because their dialogue is opposite from what the protestors believe. Basically, the First Amendment in the US Constitution that guarantees free speech is variable and conditional as interpretted by leftist-liberals. Lately, what we're seeing here is this.........If you disagree with Barack Obama you get a label to wear...Stating that you're a racist!

We see it often here mainly by the liberal media who has reported on issues with an blatant intent of 'new's views' to support one position or the other.
For example: Last month Citizen Tea Parties happened all over America with participation by citizens who are concerned about increasing taxation and the bail out that is so popular with Obama-ites. These events were equally attended by Independants, Democrats, and Republicans. There were hundreds of these rallys across the US.
One large rally, by park officials expert estimate, had over 20,000 attendees. The one national media station (MSNBC) that barely covered it, said there were less than 1,500!

Liberal media bias is rampant here and millions of Americans are concerned about it and the legions are growing daily.

Buck

Me and the Mrs were over there one Xmas and couldn't believe the rows over whether people should say Happy Christmas or (out of deference to minorities) Happy Holiday. Unbelievable.

Allow me to be the first this year (I presume) to say:

HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOURS BUCK!!!

Where's Mark Lowton?

Who exactly is Wirehead and how come he's caused such a commotion after such a short time?
I mean, who is he really?

He's doing a fine job getting the children worked up over nothing.

3 cheers for him!
3 cheers for the sheep!

Thanks Skoob!
Then you experienced the nitwit liberalism that has started to pervade American culture. The US is 84% self proclaimed Christian and I'm not one to shout that about and think everyone should be a Christian, but, just recently our esteemed President and Resident Jackass makes an apologetic statement to the world that, 'The US isn't a Christian nation!'
The same nitwit who canceled National Prayer Day last week (a voluntary event), and still, after 100 days hasn't chosen a Washington church to attend with his family. That breaks a 240 year precedent set by every First Family before him.

The sky is falling!
The sky is falling!

So what if Obama is an attention-seeking dick and the media wants him to fuck them in the ass all day and all night!
They're all dicks.

Go out and play or do something you enjoy and be happy.
Honestly: prayer day? Washington Church?

Jesus Fucking Christ.

Skoob, you could have a point.
I'd stop looking at Internet porn if I was you...

JB....It has to do with the tenets of leadership. There are many in the US that pray daily and go to a church, mosque or synagogue. Obama's support for this voluntary prayer event and a church of choice would have made a great deal to those citizens and cost him nothing.

Now, it has cost him alot

Fair enough.
I won't argue with that......yet!

You're very excitable lately, Buckwheats.
I think you've been hanging around with the wrong crowd.
I knew that Jalapenoman would lead you astray.

Don't go for a dip in the Trevi after the game.

a) It stinks of chlorine

b) They frown on that kind of thing.
