Happy Mother's Day to all Mothers (biological, emotional, step, grand, and otherwise). May you spend quality time with your children if they are near, hear from them if they are distant, and have fond memories if they are deceased. Enjoy your runny eggs and burnt toast this morning.
I also wish a happy Mother's Day to the single, custodial fathers who have to do both jobs. I did it by myself for over 7 years and understand your thankless task. May you receive the blessings and rewards through the success and love of your children.(I'll offer the same to single moms on Father's Day) Additionally, a Happy Mother's day to all you Mutha....well, you get the picture. As this includes most of the male residents of this site, you know who you are! As JB would say, have a lovely day (and don't pick to many lint balls out of your belly button). |
